| BPLANT - Notice of Bonus Entitlement BPLANT - Notice of Bonus Entitlement ILC-18042018-00002 BONUS ISSUE OF 640,000,000 NEW ORDINARY SHARES IN BOUSTEAD PLANTATIONS BERHAD ("BPB") ("BPB SHARES") ("BONUS SHARES") ON THE BASIS OF 2 BONUS SHARES FOR EVERY 5 EXISTING BPB SHARES HELD AS AT 5:00 P.M. ON 30 APRIL 2018 ("ENTITLEMENT DATE") ("BONUS ISSUE"). Kindly be advised of the following : 1) The above Company?s securities will be traded and quoted ?[Ex-Bonus Issue]? as from: 26 Apr 2018 2) The last date of lodgment : 30 Apr 2018 3) Retention Money: Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned:- a) Selling Broker to deduct <2/7>, of Selling Price against the Selling Client b) Buying Broker to deduct <28.57%>, of Purchase Price against the Buying Client c) Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of <2/7>, of the Transacted Price is applicable. Remarks 1: "Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place after 30 April 2018 with bonus issue of BPLANT shares, any shareholder who is entitled to receive BPLANT bonus issue shares, may sell any or all of his BPLANT shares arising from the bonus issue beginning the Ex-Date (26 April 2018). For example, if Mr X purchases 500 BPLANT shares on cum basis on 25 April 2018, Mr X should receive 500 shares on 30 April 2018. As a result of the bonus issue, a total of 700 BPLANT shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 30 April 2018 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell the bonus issue shares of 700 on or after the Ex-Date ie from 26 April 2018 onwards." Remarks 2: The Bonus Shares will be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") on 2 May 2018, being 1 market day after the Entitlement Date. The share registrar of BPB will issue and despatch the notices of allotment for the Bonus Shares to the entitled shareholders whose names appear in the Record of Depositors of BPB on the Entitlement Date no later than 4 market days after the date of listing of and quotation for the Bonus Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.
